| Bio: | something about me...let's see sreni is my nickname. I chosed it myself and I like it. It comes from the word serenity. I use this nick (but with one e -> srenity) when I'm chatting on IRCnet and Quakenet. On ICQ it's just sreni. At the moment I'm studying Japanology (Japanese Studies) and Sinology (Chinese Studies). Meaning I learn the Japanese and the Chinese language, history and what else has to do with these two countries... economy, society, geography etc. I'm hoping to get a good job as a translator or something like this in the future. I also love swimming in lakes (well, I'm a rat), drawing/painting(it's getting down to zero), meeting with friends, having game-evenings, bowling, pool (billiard), chatting, surfing on the internet-wave, watching movies or tv-shows (comedy, love, fantasy, adventure, anime) and sometimes even reading (mostly transcripts, manga, novels) :-) And I love music, nearly everything, besides metal, techno and "schlager" (there's no appropriate translation for this). My favs are Oldies (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's), Soundtrack music, Asian pop (j-pop, korean pop and smooth Chinese pop music) and alternative rock (that's what I call it when I mean songs of bands like Interpol, Green Day, The Strokes, Kaiser Chiefs, The Shins, The Hives, The Cure, Hoobastank). I love Gilmore girls and can't understand why Lauren Graham hasn't gotten an Emmy yet. She soo deserves one for her role as Lorelai Gilmore. I'm with Genevieve, She Is Gilmore girls. I'd really like to have such a relationship with my mum. Not that it is too bad, it's good, normal I guess, but who wouldn't wanna have such a great relationship like Lorelai and Rory have for most of the times, huh? I have a cat, whom I also addicted to. His name is P-chan. The P shall mark his "true" name (I don't use it anymore, because my former cats were named so, too) Peter and -chan is a Japanese personal appendage to mark cuteness. And he's a cute one: white face and throat, 4 white paws, black spots on the stomach like a cheetah and the rest is streaked black and brown/yellow like a tiger. I believe in God and take it serious (in my eyes). That's why I'm interested in historical novels concerning ancient time. If someone makes a joke I don't hate him or her for that, that wouldn't be me but sometimes it hurts. I'm a kind person, tolerant and understand jokes. I don't take everything too serious. I come along with nearly everyone which means I don't care about other people's religious orientation much, meaning I respect other people's opinions. But I'm also glad if someone is Christian, too. And if someone wants to know something I'd be happy to tell the few I know. I love playing (horror) 3D-video-games like Resident Evil - my favourites (1,2 and cv, not 3)! and MS-Dos games...really old ones... these text-typing, cursor-for-moving 2D adventure games (hugo, indiana jones, prince of persia 1+2,king's quest, etc) :) but I don't play very often :/ I don't smoke. Baah! Sometimes drink alcohol, but most times for pleasure, not to be drunk. I love Baileys and Bibop *yum* okay. that's enough for now, maybe I add/change things later. | |
